HOW SHOULD I PREPARE MY AUDIO FILES BEFORE UPLOADING THEM?
The following is necessary when submitting your audio files:
Ensure that the source material is the best possible quality and preferably WAV/AIFF 24 bit 96 kHz or a minimum WAV/AIFF 16 bit 44.1 kHz or MP3 with a bit rate above 192 Kbits.
Keep the peaks on the main mix level to a maximum of -3dBfs.
Ensure all bass frequencies are placed centrally in the stereo field because stereo effects in this frequency range will corrupt playback.
Avoid bass frequencies below 20 Hz because they will corrupt playback.
Avoid very high frequencies because they will corrupt playback.
Compile your audio files into a compressed zip folder and send them to email@example.com using the free online file transfer service wetransfer.com.
DO THE AUDIO FILES HAVE TO BE MASTERED BEFORE CUTTING?
Yes, this is required for proper playback and includes changes to volume, the stereo field and the removal of non-recordable frequencies.
These adjustments will be completed free of charge.
MY AUDIO FILES HAVE ALREADY BEEN MASTERED.
If your audio files have already been mastered for vinyl, please let us know that you do not require mastering with your upload message and we will bypass additional mastering.
WHAT ABOUT COPYRIGHT?
It is important that no part of your submitted files contravenes any copyright laws.
If you have already purchased the music then you are permitted to reproduce a copy onto another format for strictly personal use only.
HOW DO YOU MAKE YOUR RECORDS?
We use a custom made vinyl record cutting lathe.
A diamond cutting stylus cuts the grooves into a high grade vinyl disc.
WHAT ARE YOUR RECORDS MADE OF?
We only use professional grade black vinyl as used by pressing plants which ensures that the final product is durable and retains its original playback quality.
HOW DO I PAY?
Bank transfer is ideal and we are open to other payment suggestions but we don't use PayPal.
WHAT ARE YOUR PRICES IN MY LOCAL CURRENCY?
We recommend using xe.com to convert from British Pounds (GBP) into your own currency.
Please note that these prices are an approximation based on recent exchange rates.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO PROCESS MY ORDER?
Due to high demand, please allow between three and six weeks to process standard orders.
Please note that while we strive to meet these targets at all times, these timings are estimates.
This service can be extremely busy and at times of high demand there may be further delays in the processing time.
In the case of any unreasonable delay we will email you with updates on progress.
If you need something quicker, add £2 per record to get your order moved to the front of the cutting queue.
HOW LONG WILL MY ORDER TAKE TO ARRIVE?
Typical delivery times are as follows:
United Kingdom = 2 to 3 working days.
Europe = 3 to 7 working days.
Rest of the World = 7 to 28 working days.
These times are based on Royal Mail estimates.
Experience tells us that deliveries to Central and South America in particular can take four weeks or more but it all depends on the local postal service in your area.
Larger parcels may take longer.
We send UK orders by Royal Mail standard post.
We send overseas orders by Royal Mail Airmail.
There are weight restrictions so heavy orders may be split into two or more packages.
Royal Mail pass packages on to your local national postal service for delivery.
If you did not pay for postal insurance we cannot provide a tracking number.
Unlike some other countries the UK does not have a reference number for every package.
If an order is returned to us marked unclaimed, refused, unknown, insufficient address, etc. we will have to charge to re-ship the order to you.
I'VE RECEIVED MY ORDER BUT THERE IS A PROBLEM.
Records are very carefully and closely monitored throughout the entire manufacturing process.
If you are not completely satisfied with your product and you feel a problem has arisen as a result of manufacture then please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org within three days of delivery.
I HAVEN'T RECEIVED MY ORDER.
You will receive an email notification when your order has been processed and is ready for dispatch.
If we have sent the email notification of imminent dispatch but you have not received your order please contact us at email@example.com within three days of the expected delivery date.
In such cases, it is important you contact us at the earliest opportunity as failure to do so may negate any possible claim against the relevant courier's terms and conditions and it may not be possible to reimburse you.
